More on the 4/15 Scrimmage

From Vt.fanfoc.us again, this time with quotes from all of the assistants, sans Foster. Great post guys. Here is an exerpt from Coach Wiles:

Isaiah Hamlett took a step in the right direction. He has a lot of work to do, but he made some plays and he's getting better. Can Isaiah help us this fall? We'll see. Joe Jones, didn't get any camp because of shoulder surgery, and now he's trying to get it all figured out. He's improving, but he's still a redshirt freshman. Steven Friday hurt his elbow on the first play of the game. That's too bad because I really wanted to see him perform. Inside, Kwamaine Battle played well. Antoine Hopkins did some good things. He had one mental error compared to some of the other guys who had three mentals. I think Antoine is going to be a good player. I think he and Kwamaine can help us.

I feel like Graves will move back inside. That means we have to find another end who can help us. Somebody will have to give us 10-15 plays there. In the third group, Courtney Prince only got 8 plays, but he stood out. Justin Young, didn't take a step forward. Dwight Tucker did some nice things and he'll be able to help us down the road. Prince showed more power and turned his feet over. He runs well and makes plays and showed energy. I wish I would have given him more plays. He'll get more in our next scrimmage. A.B. Latif needs to take coaching and apply it on the field."
