Darryl Slater from the Richmond Times-Dispatch has a new update on Hill, who is currently battling with Carmichael and Whitley for the FC spot. I have always liked Hill's athleticism, and I'm really hoping he improves his awareness and aggressiveness. I've heard that Gray and Foster feel the same way.

More on "The Hitch"
Darryl Slater at The Richmond Times-Dispatch has more to report on Tyrod's hitch. Some actual quotes from Tyrod are included. Enjoy, and here is an exerpt:
Sure enough, Taylor's delivery had deviated from the proper technique he previously used. Instead of bringing the ball back and keeping it higher than his shoulder, with his arm at a right angle, Taylor dropped the ball below shoulder level, with his arm straight, then lifted it above his shoulder. He isn't sure why he did this. Maybe it had to do with him bulking up when he got to Tech, he said.
"It didn't look like it messed with my accuracy," Taylor said. "I think it was just a slower release, maybe giving a defense time to break on the ball."
Taylor completed 57.2 percent of his passes as a sophomore last season and 53.7 percent as a freshman. Sean Glennon, a senior last season, split time with Taylor the past two years, when he completed 60.2 and 60.9 percent.

Ju-Ju Clayton

But because Clayton spent last season on the scout team, running the opponents' plays, he never actually did any of the things in his notes until Wednesday. And for all the film sessions and the times O'Cain quizzed Clayton and Davis in meetings about a formation, the coach said it is "impossible" to prepare Clayton for the on-field experience until he does it.
"You can read it on the paper, but it's different when you're out here on the field," Clayton said. "There's no paper. Being thrown out there, it's like being thrown into a pack of wolves, basically."
He calmed down as Wednesday's practice proceeded. O'Cain noticed fewer errors and liked how Clayton looked when he threw passes. Clayton almost didn't have this chance to contend. Sixteen months ago, during his senior year at Hermitage, his only Division I-A scholarship offer was from Army.
