Gabriel Henderson

I've heard that Henderson, one of the top QB recruits on VT's board this year, is garnering more attention as of late from some major schools. My prognosis- VT is still the leader for his services, for a couple reasons.

First, we were the first major school on him, and we are on him like white on rice. Second, it's my understanding that he really enjoyed campus and plans on visiting again in the near future. All signs point to an early signing, but that's just prognositication at this point.

Gabriel Henderson

Henderson, a 6'1" 187 lb QB prospect out of Raleigh has an early VT offer and by the sounds of it appears to be one of our top priorities this year, behind Phillip Sims. PalmettoSports.com is reporting that he's getting interest from all over the ACC and doesn't have any favorities right now.
However, from what I've been hearing Henderson may in fact be our second commit behind Acree this year and may do so at the Spring Game. I think all of VT's fanbase will breath a little easier with an early QB on board. If we can get Henderson and Sims this year, the Hokie gurus have to give the class at very least an A-.

North Carolina Recruits

Tom Lemming has done it again. This time he's breaking down the 2010 North Carolina D-1 Recruits. Here are some hightlights:

Robert Crisp- 6'8", 300 lb OT has "incredible potential" and may come as a package deal with teammate Pete Singer (safety).

Gabe Henderson- Maybe VT's top QB prospect, he is "fast, versitile and elusive" and VT is making a huge push to have his services.

Tony Creecy- the 6'0"wide receiver might be the best player in the state this year.

A.J. Marshall- Our first DB offer this year, and recorded 65 tackles and four sacks last year

Alfy Hill- Lemming thinks that Hill is talented enought to play now in college

Prince Shembo- Impressed with his productivity on the field
